Google AdMob

Overview

QuikApp allows you to monetize your mobile app using Google AdMob.

With AdMob integration, you can:

  • Display banner ads
  • Generate ad revenue
  • Choose Android, iOS, or both
  • Control ad placement (Top / Bottom)
  • Select banner size

Configuration Guide

  • Step 1: Create an AdMob account
  1. Go to Google AdMob (https://admob.google.com/)
  2. Sign in with your Google account
  3. Complete account setup
  • Step 2: Add your App in AdMob
  1. Click Apps
  2. Click Add App
  3. Choose:
    • Android or iOS
  4. Enter your app details
  5. Create the app
You will now receive:App ID Find App ID in the App settings menu inside your project. Example – (Format): ca-app-pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx~xxxxxxxxxx Copy this into: QuikApp → Integration → Google AdMob → App ID
  • Step 3: Create Banner Ad Unit
  1. Inside AdMob → Go to your app
  2. Click Ad Units
  3. Click Create Ad Unit
  4. Select:
    • Banner
  5. Name it (Example: Home_Banner)
  6. Create
You will receive: Banner Ad Unit ID Example – (Format): ca-app-pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/xxxxxxxxxx Paste into: QuikApp → Integration → Google AdMob → Banner Ad Unit ID
Ad Type
Currently supported:
  • Banner
(Interstitial & Rewarded ads coming soon)
Ad Position 
Choose where banner appears:
  • Top
  • Bottom
You can enable one or both.
Device 
Choose platform:
  • Android
  • iOS
  • Both
If you publish to both stores, select Both.
Ad Size 
Available sizes:
  • Small (320×50)
  • Medium (468×60)
  • Large (728×90)
  • Recommended for mobile apps: Small (320×50)
Screens
  • Ads will show on all screens of your app
Save
  • Click Save to apply configuration.
  • Rebuild the app if required before publishing to stores.

How Revenue works

Revenue depends on:
  • User location
  • Ad impressions
  • Click-through rate
  • Advertiser demand
You can track earnings inside:
  • AdMob Dashboard → Reports

Troubleshooting

Ads Not Showing?
Check:
  • Correct App ID
  • Correct Banner Ad Unit ID
  • App published (real ads do not show properly in debug builds)
  • AdMob account approved
  • No policy violations
Showing Test Ads Only?
Make sure:
  • App is live on Play Store / App Store
  • You are not using test IDs
  • Your account is fully verified

Important Policy Note

Follow Google AdMob Policies:
  • Do not click your own ads
  • Do not encourage users to click ads
  • Do not place ads too close to clickable elements
Policy violations may lead to account suspension.

Best practices for QuikApp users

Since QuikApp apps are WebView-based:
  • Place ads only on high-engagement screens
  • Avoid too many ads on one screen
  • Use Bottom placement for better UX
  • Test on real device before publishing
