Google Analytics

Overview

QuikApp allows you to integrate your mobile app with Google Analytics (GA4) to track:

  • User activity
  • Engagement time
  • Retention
  • App versions
  • Events (first_open, screen_view, etc.)
  • Country & device data
  • Revenue (if configured)
This integration works using:
  • GA4 Property ID
  •  Google Cloud Service Account (JSON key)

Configuration Guide

Step 1: Create a GA4 Property
  1. Go to Google Analytics
  2. Click Admin
  3. Create a GA4 Property
  4. Copy your Property ID (Example: 519218284)
You will paste this into: QuikApp → Integration → Google Analytics → GA4 Property ID
Step 2: Create a Service Account Key
QuikApp uses secure server-to-server access via Google Cloud.
  • Open: Google Cloud Console
  • Navigate to: IAM & Admin → Service Accounts
  • Create Service Account: Name: analytics-viewer

Role: Viewer (basic is enough)

  • Generate JSON Key:
    • Click Manage Keys
    • Click Add Key
    • Select JSON
    • Download the file
  • Upload to QuikApp: Go to:
    • QuikApp Dashboard → Integration → Google Analytics
    • Upload the JSON file in:
    • Service Account Key
Step 3: Grant Analytics Access
Important: Without this step, data will NOT load.
  1. Open Google Analytics
  2. Go to Admin → Property Access Management
  3. Click + Add Users
  4. Paste the service account email
(from JSON file – looks like:
    name@project-id.iam.gserviceaccount.com)
  5. Assign Role: Viewer
  6. Click Add
Step 4: Enable Analytics in Firebase console
To ensure Google Analytics is properly integrated with your app, you must enable Analytics in your Firebase project:
  1. Go to the Firebase Console.
  2. Select your project. (i.e, used for your App build)
  3. From the left-hand menu, click Analytics (Dashboard).
  4. Click Enable Analytics.
Upload Service Account Key and enter GA4 Property ID in Google Analytics configuration page in QuikApp and Save.
